The story of Orban Group is a fascinating one that can be compared to a relay race. Each runner in a relay team will run their part of the race with a baton, guarding it carefully to ensure that they do not drop it and at the end of their part they will hand it over to the next runner who also has to guard it and finish his or her part with it.
It is the same with Orban Group, which was started by Hendrick Orban in 1954.
Mr Orban ran the company for 30 years, building it steadily whilst at the same time focusing on quality and service excellence.
He handed over the company in 1984 when he retired to Mr Maarten van Duyn, his then employee, who also continued to run the company in the same tradition of quality and service excellence until his retirement in 2012, when he decided to sell the business.
The new owners, having taken over the running and management of the business in the middle of 2012 have transformed it into a one stop shop offering branding, communication, design and printing services.
Furthermore, stationery and office products have been added to the Group’s products and service offerings.
